Mobile phone..

First there were two-way radios used in vehicles such as police cruisers, ambulances, etc. but were not mobile phones because they were not normally connected to the telephone network. Users could not dial phone numbers from their mobile radios in their vehicles. A large community of mobile radio users popularized the technology that would eventually give way to the mobile phone. Originally, mobile phones were permanently installed in vehicles, but later versions such as the so-called transportables that were equipped with a cigarette lighter plug so that they could also be carried, and thus could be used as either mobile or as portable two-way radios. During the early 1940s, Motorola developed a backpacked two-way radio, the walkie-talkie and later developed a large hand-held two-way radio for the US military.
In my opinion mobile phones are a practical invention because if you have a problem or something you can phone somebody.
There is something negative too, if you have all time the phone in your trousers or in your clothes in the future you can have problems in your body, for example if you are pregnant your baby can have problems. this is because of the electromagnetic waves.

ok this is my opinion on mobile phones..

bye bye

“Mobile phones”

History:
At the beginning, two-way radios (known as mobile rigs) were used in some vehicles, but were not mobile phones because they were not normally connected to the telephone network. Users could not dial phone numbers from their mobile radios in their vehicles.
During the early 1940s, Motorola developed a backpacked two-way radio, the Walkie-Talkie and later developed a large hand-held two-way radio for the US military. It was the size of a man’s forearm.
In 1970 Amos E. Joel, Jr., an engineer invented an automatic "call handoff" system to allow mobile phones to move through several areas during a single conversation without loss of conversation.
One of the first truly successful public commercial mobile phone networks was the ARP network in Finland, launched in 1971.
Dr. Martin Cooper of Motorola, made the first US analogue mobile phone call on a larger prototype model in 1973.
The first handheld mobile phone to become commercially available to the US market was the Motorola DynaTAC 8000X, which received approval in 1983.
In the 1990s, “second generation” mobile phone systems began to be introduced.
Not long after the introduction “second generation” of networks, projects began to develop third generation (3G) systems. Now they are available almost everywhere and, who knows, maybe there will be a “fourth generation” in a few years.

My opinion:
I think the mobile phones are a controversial thing, on the one side it helps people to communicate and help to save lives (for example: in a survival situation), but on the other side, it complicates it. I know, it seems incoherent, but to me it has a logic, because new mobile phones appear each year (not to say every month) and people always want to have the newest, most expensive and with more things on it, but they don’t know that this makes their life more complicated and more dependent on technology. Not to mention the pollution that this produces. As you might have guessed, I am not a mobile phone lover, but we live in a world of consumism and technology and I will have to live with this…

In the future:
I don’t believe in people who say that in the future mobile phones will fit in a man’s ear, but I think that they will succeed and be more complex with the pass of a few decades, or even only years, good luck grown-up walkie-talkie!

At Last!

Hello.. Finally I can postt!!
It's been days since I've started trying to post!
Going to the important part in this post.. me! jaaj..
I want to tell you some things about me.. I'm a 15-year-old student, I study at Primo Capraro school, I like English really much and the bands that I listen to are all from the USA except for Tokio Hotel that's a German band. My hobbies are listening to music (all the time... something I do everywhere whenever I can...), painting (I like to paint but I have just few drawings that I really like), watching TV and eating.. I don't know if those really count but it's something I do all the time.
Another thing I really love doing is changing the color of my hair... I think that it shows how you feel or how you felt in different times of your life...right now I've changed my color into black like bill kaulitz' hair style when he was younger... the difference is that I can't "put up" my hair because the school doesn't allow me to...
Talking about the school... I really enjoy speaking the whole time with my friends and the breaks.. jaja no, I like subjects too, like Chemistry and Biology...
I would like to go at least once to the USA or England, and stay some time there learning how to pronounce some words and to have more understanding of the language...
okay.. Now i think you rather know me.
kisses
Melii
