Letter to Nicholas Nickleby

Dear Nicholas,

Where are you? Are you doing ok? And how is Smike? Newman told me he knew your new address so I'm sending my letter to him.
I want to tell you some bad news. First of all, the dressmaker's fired me. I started working with an old woman who needs my help, she is called Mrs Wititterly. She was very nice to me at first, but lately she's been treating me in a cold way. In fact, we had a big argument last Monday. I'm so sad! I really need this job!
But the main thing I wanted to tell you is about an ugly man called Sir Mulberry. I met him one afternoon at dinner at uncle Ralph's house. I think I like him. He asked uncle Ralph to arrange a date with me. He has been visiting me a lot lately. He's so annoying! I can't deal with him anymore. He's unpolite and makes stupid jokes all the time. The worst thing is that mum wants him to marry me! And I also think that all this attention is the reason Mrs Wititterly has been treating me so badly. I think she may be jealous!
The other day I tried to tell uncle Ralph about him, but he nearly closed the door at my nose! He's such a selfish man!
I'm sorry to bother you with all my problems, dear brother, but I just needed to talk to someone. I hope you are fine. Write to me soon please! I miss you.
